After playing the role of a courageous lady in No one killed Jessica alongside Rani Mukherjee,Vidya Balan is all set to play the lead role in 'Dirty Picture' a film on the life of Southern sex bomb Silk Smitha.Who was a very sought out item number actress in the eighties.In 1996, Smitha was found dead in her Chennai apartment. The previous year she had tried to shift her career to become a film producer. Financial problems, a disillusionment in love and an alcohol dependency apparently led to a depression.She was aged 35 when she died.
Well this is totally different from what Vidya Balan has done in the past,will be interesting to watch how she plays this role.
